Tabs on Vulnerable Item and Remediation Task Forms Are Shown or Hidden Based on Record State, Not Related Data Issue On the Vulnerable Item ( sn_vul_vulnerable_item ) and Remediation Task ( sn_vul_vulnerability ) forms, some tabs are hidden by default. Even when related information exists for a tab, the tab may not be displayed.

Customers may expect that a tab is shown whenever it has related information, and that tab visibility is determined by whether a tab is defined in sys_ui_form_section .

Cause Tab visibility is controlled by the OOTB onLoad Client Script "Show and hide all tabs" (sys_id: 9bcc8e8fe750230068c30b63c2f6a95f), which calls g_form.setSectionDisplay() according to the record state. It does not depend on whether the tab has related information.

Tab display conditions in the Default view:

A tab being defined does not mean it is always displayed. All tabs listed above are defined in sys_ui_form_section , but they are not displayed unless the conditions above are met. A tab not being defined does not mean it is conditionally hidden. The tab does not exist on the form, so it is never displayed under any condition. Resolution This is the expected OOTB behavior. To display a hidden tab, change the record state to match the conditions in the Cause section (or set sn_vul.show_last_open_detection for the Initial Detection / Last Open Detection tabs).
