For Service Exchange, when fields defined as virtual outbound fields are solely updated from the provider instance the output payload is not generatedIssue Fields defined as virtual outbound field on the service exchange transform is not going on outbound JSON while updating from Provider to consumer instance. Symptoms When only fields defined as virtual outbound fields are updated, the outbound payload is not generated by service exchange. Release N/A Cause The reason why the virtual defined outbound fields are not sending from provider instance to customer instance on the update in outbound variable JSON for a virtual outbound transform for impact is because the Virtual outbound fields are expected to be updated using an API and since there is no source field the Service exchange does not have a way to identify if this data should be synced. Resolution When a non virtual field is updated, it triggers the process that executes the virtual outbound transform script and any other non virtual field which is not in the mapping gets updated, then the user has to use API to update the virtual field. Please find below documentation:https://www.servicenow.com/docs/r/service-exchange/service-bridge-v2-create-remote-tasks-defs.html API: new sn_sb.SBRemoteTaskUtil().updateVirtualField(remoteTaskGr, virtualField, virtualValue, virtualDisplayValue);
