On Order Tasks, the request definition configurations are duplicating Issue When raising an order and viewing the configure order task against the request definition, every variable that is configured, regardless of the product specification set, is shown on the task under the 'variables'. This results in duplicate variables being displayed instead of filtering them based on the selected product specification. Release Zurich Cause The display business rule 'Add char variable to hide in scratchpad' on the Order Task incorrectly used 'NOTIN' instead of 'NOT IN' in the encoded query of the method 'RequestDefinitionCharacteristicDAO.getInValidReqDefCharsForOfferingAndSpec()'. This caused the query to return an empty result, leading to all request definition characteristics being displayed instead of filtering them by the product specification. Resolution 1. A workaround was provided by applying an update set 'sys_remote_update_set_06939caef37ec310794e1fbf56968c00.xml' containing a fix for the issue. The update set addresses the root cause and ensures variables are filtered correctly based on the product specification. 2. The fix involves correcting an encoded query in the 'Add char variable to hide in scratchpad' display business rule on the Order Task, replacing 'NOTIN' with 'NOT IN' to properly filter out irrelevant characteristics. 3. After applying the update set, verify that variables are now displayed correctly by navigating to the order task and checking the 'variables' section.
