The character counter is not enabled for HTML fields in the workspace, but is enabled in UI 16.2. The character counter is not dynamically updated in the workspace for String fields. Steps to reproduce: 1. Login to any instance, preferably in Australia.2. Set the system property - glide.ui.textarea.character_counter to true. Issue 1:1. Open any incident in workspace.2. Update the description field. 3. Notice that the character counter is not updated.4. Move the cursor away from the description field.5. The character counter is updated.6. Open the same incident in UI16 and update the description field.7. Notice that the character counter is updated in real time. Expected Result: The character counter is updated in real time in workspace.Actual Result: The character counter is updated only when you move your cursor away from the field. Issue 2:1. Open any record that has an HTML field in the workspace. e.g problem.2. Notice that character counter is not displayed. e.g. fix notes3. Open the same record in UI16 and notice that the counter is displayed. Expected Result: The character counter is displayed for HTML fields in the workspace.Actual Result: The character counter is not displayed for HTML fields. Root Cause: The behavior is related to existing defect PRB2041402. Resolution: PRB2041402 is Fixed in Brazil release. Kindly upgrade the instance to Brazil release when it becomes available for upgrade.
