When navigating records from a filtered list, the Next Record navigation initially respects the filtered list context but loses it after moving to the next record. This issue is seen when there are Security Data Filters defined on the corresponding table.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a complex security data filter with multiple conditions on any table, e.g., the case table. 2. Navigate to the list view of the table. 3. Filter the records based on some conditions. 4. Open the first record from the filtered list. 5. Hover over the Next navigation button in the top-right corner, and it correctly displays the number of records (2 of ) 6. Click Next Record 7. After navigating to the next record, hover over the Next navigation button, and it displays an incorrect number of records. (3 of ) Expected Result: Hovering over the next navigation button should display the filtered number of records. Actual Result: Hovering over the next navigation button displays the incorrect number of records.

The behavior is related to existing defect PRB2074584 .

Resolution:

PRB2074584 is targeted to be Fixed in Canada release. Kindly upgrade the instance to Canada release when it becomes available for upgrade.
