Portal Standard Ticket Widget : The work notes field in the Employee Center shows an excessively long vertical bar. Problem:A visual bug where the journal field indicator in the Standard Ticket Tab widgets extends beyond the expected vertical boundary, particularly noticeable when branding colors are applied. When the sys_property: "glide.ui.activity_stream.style.comments" is set to any color, the bar becomes taller than the parent element, making it overflow. Steps to reproduce: 1. Hop into an Australia instance.2. Change the sys_property "glide.ui.activity_stream.style.comments" from transparent to any color; in this case, we tested with lightgreen.3. Go to the Service Portal.4. Open any incident. (https://instance-name.service-now.com/sp?sys_id=incident-sys-id&view=sp&id=ticket&table=incident) Expected behaviorThe comment section has a bar in the color you chose, and it's the same size as the comment input field. Actual behaviorThe comment section has a bar in the color you chose, and it's taller than the comment input field, making it overflow. Root Cause:The issue is identified as a known defect PRB2029227 affecting the platform.Workaround:1. Open the widget with sys_id a54beb3a87f10010e0ef0cf888cb0bba (e.g., https://.service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sp_widget.do?sys_id=a54beb3a87f10010e0ef0cf888cb0bba).2. Edit the widget's CSS and add the following rule:#activity-label ~ .journal-field-indicator {top: 30px;bottom: 7px;}3. Save the widget and refresh the Service Portal page. The comment bar will now align correctly with the input field.4. Revert the widget to the out-of-the-box (OOB) version once the platform upgrade includes the fixed version per PRB2029227.Resolution:PRB2029227 is fixed in Brazil release. Kindly upgrade the instance to Brazil release once it becomes available for upgrade.
