Workspace Home Tab Click Cannot Be Intercepted via Custom LogicIssue A workspace administrator wants to run custom logic when a user clicks the workspace's Home tab — the primary tab labeled "Home" at the top of the workspace canvas. They expect a receivable event (a macroponent event, a DOM event, or a platform hook) to fire on that click so their custom code can react to it. No such event is observed, even when monitoring via UI Builder client scripts or custom macroponent event bindings. Facts Clicking the workspace Home tab is handled entirely as internal state management within the workspace canvas chrome framework. The click-selection mechanism updates the active tab state inside the canvas component and does not emit any public event, DOM CustomEvent, or macroponent-level event that can be observed or intercepted by custom platform logic. The tab-click behavior itself is a fixed, non-configurable part of the OOB workspace chrome. It is not exposed through any Workspace Builder or UI Builder configuration screen. This behavior applies to the Home tab and, by the same mechanism, to all other primary workspace tabs. The Home tab is not specially wired — it uses the same internal click-dispatch path as every primary tab. Release All Resolution Tab-click interception is not supported. There is no workaround that provides an interceptable event on the Home tab click itself. If the underlying goal is to run custom logic when the Home page loads rather than specifically when the tab is clicked, consider attaching logic to the Home page component's "page ready" event on the Home page root component in UI Builder. Note the scope of this alternative carefully: the "page ready" event fires when the page content first mounts, not on every click of the Home tab. If the Home tab is already open and the user clicks it again, no remount occurs and "page ready" will not fire a second time. This satisfies "run logic once when the Home page first loads," but not "run logic every time the Home tab is clicked."
