Dynamic translation does not translate text with multiple languages in a single input Issue : Dynamic Translation does not translate text when a field contains multiple languages (for example, English and Spanish). When you select the translate icon, the original text is returned without translation. Symptoms A translation icon appears beside a field in an Incident or other record. When you select the translation icon, the original text is returned unchanged. The issue occurs specifically when the field contains content in multiple languages mixed together.Single-language content translates as expected. Example : On an Incident record, the Description field contains the following input: Issue: Software Application IssueWhere: Desk Change AMAdditional Details: aea no deja que firefox funcione en el PC del intern example.user@ When you select the translate icon beside the Description field on the Incident record: Expected:The text in Additional Details is translated to English. Actual:The original input is returned without translation. Root cause : Dynamic Translation performs language detection at the entire text block level rather than at the sentence or phrase level. When a field contains content in multiple languages, the translation service cannot determine a single source language and therefore returns the original text unchanged. Partial translation of mixed-language content within the same field is not supported. This limitation stems from the language detection capabilities of the underlying translation services and is not specific to the ServiceNow platform.
