Release Zurich, Australia Cause Multiple invocations to the script NowAssistSkillConfig while the cache is not built will trigger multiple DB queries delaying the response. The sn.now.assist.caching.enabled system property turns on an in-memory cache for Now Assist skill-configuration lookups. While a form is being rendered, the platform repeatedly checks which Now Assist skills (like Task Summarize) are available for the current record, user, and table. Those checks read skill config, status, variable sets, applicability, ACLs, and subscription data. With this property set to true, that data is cached in memory on the node, so the form reads it once and reuses it for all the UI actions and form sections that need it. With the property set to anything other than true, every one of those checks goes back to the database, which on a form with many UI actions can generate thousands of repeated queries and cause the 20–30 second loads you are seeing.Product team recommend creating the system property sn.now.assist.caching.enabled and setting it to true. This explicitly enables Now Assist skill-configuration caching, so those lookups are served from memory instead of the database. Resolution Create the following system property if not already present on the instance: Name: sn.now.assist.caching.enabledValue: true This enables caching for Now Assist skill configuration lookups, preventing repeated database queries on every form render.
