CartJS Duplicate Request Items During Concurrent Workflow ExecutionIssue Duplicate Request Items and related records are created or associated with the wrong user when multiple workflow executions occur simultaneously. Symptoms Duplicate records are observed during bulk processing.Request Items may be associated with the wrong user.Issue occurs under concurrent execution/load conditions.Processing records individually does not reproduce the issue.Workflow comments and generated records may reference different users. Facts Multiple workflow executions were triggered concurrently. The workflow activity creating the Request Item utilized cart() functionality.Multiple workflow contexts completed at nearly the same time when the issue occurred.Investigation identified evidence of request data crossing between concurrent workflow executions. Release Not specified. Cause The cart() implementation used within the workflow did not generate a unique identifier for each cart instance. During concurrent execution, cart data could be shared or reused between workflow executions, resulting in cross-contamination of request data and incorrect Request Item creation. Resolution Modify the cart initialization to create a unique cart instance for each execution.Replace the existing cart initialization with: var cart = new sn_sc.CartJS(gs.generateGUID()); Retest using multiple concurrent transactions.Validate that Request Items are created for the correct user and that duplicate records are no longer generated.
