Symptoms Non-admin users cannot access Engagement Messenger. The Engagement Messenger window may display a continuous loading spinner. The widget fails to load. The following error is logged: org.mozilla.javascript.EvaluatorException: GlideRecord.setTableName - empty table name Facts The error originated while the Engagement Messenger configuration was being processed. The affected Walk-up feature record was in an inconsistent state. The feature_table_name field was empty. The expected value was sn_csm_ec_feature_instance.Providing additional roles to the affected user did not resolve the issue.Repairing the plugin and importing the XML record did not resolve the issue. After the affected fields were restored, the widget loaded for both admin and non-admin users. Release Zurich Patch 4 Hot Fix 6 Cause The Walk-up feature record in the sn_csm_ec_feature table had an empty feature_table_name value instead of sn_csm_ec_feature_instance. When the widget loaded, ECConfigIntegrationUtil iterated through the feature instances and used feature.feature_table_name to determine which child table to query. Because the field was empty, an empty table name was passed to GlideRecord(), causing the widget to fail. The case investigation found that the incorrect version of the Walk-up feature record had loaded even though the Walk-Up for CSM plugin was installed. Resolution Review the Walk-up feature record in the sn_csm_ec_feature table.Confirm that feature_table_name is populated with sn_csm_ec_feature_instance.Confirm that the title is Walk-up and the type is page.If the record is inconsistent, restore the affected fields to their expected out-of-box values.Test Engagement Messenger with both an administrator and a non-admin user. If the record correction cannot be moved successfully between environments, recreating the Engagement Messenger module may be required to prevent the issue in higher environments.
