Collect Certificates pattern extension fails to deduplicate certificate records, causing DUPLICATE_PAYLOAD_RECORDS errors and discovery failureDescriptionThe extension does not deduplicate certificates before submission, when the same certificate appears more than once in the Windows LocalMachine certificate store, IRE rejects the entire discovery payload with DUPLICATE_PAYLOAD_RECORDS, and no CI data is written for the affected host(s). Steps to Reproduce 1. Verify that the Certificate Management application store plugin is installed on the instance. 2. Ensure the pattern extension and the shared library pattern named "Collect Certificates" exist on the instance. 3. Run an IP-based discovery against a Windows Server whose LocalMachine certificate store already contains duplicate certificates (the same fingerprint appearing more than once). 4. Observe that the discovery pattern fails with a DUPLICATE_PAYLOAD_RECORDS error, caused by those duplicate certificate entries being submitted in the IRE payload. Workaround A workaround update set adds a deduplication step (on fingerprint) to the "Collect Certificates" pattern extension.
