Known Issues and fixes for pattern execution over ACC Known Issues and fixes for pattern execution over ACC The Agent Client Collector (ACC) enables application pattern execution on host servers. Application patterns gather details on applications running on the ACC host and are triggered after host Discovery is complete. Pattern execution requires the agent to be connected to a MID Server. As only application patterns are supported on ACC, all issues listed here are specific to application pattern execution. Issues specific to MSSQL DB On Windows are covered separately — refer to [KB — MSSQL DB On Windows Pattern Execution via ACC Agent]. PRB2071225 — Inconsistent quote handling for EVAL commands in CVT breaks content produced by Patterns Allow-list Generator.PRB2070412 — Oracle DB On Unix: OS metadata incorrectly populated — for Linux/Windows specific commands, "applicable os class" not set correctly. PRB2074294 — MySQL pattern runs mysqld.exe -V and --version without quoting the executable path — all version detection steps fail on Windows hosts where path contains spaces.PRB2074293 — MSSQL pattern sets tcp_port=0 when TcpDynamicPorts=0 — all port fallback steps skipped, primary identification fails via GRACEFUL_TERMINATION.PRB2071110 — Apache on Unix enrich library EVAL step throws ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException. Update-set name: Update_set_2 App name: Discovery and Service Mapping patterns App version: 1.35.0 Defects Fixed in September Release PRB2052855 — Oracle DB On Unix — "Get Catalogs info" extension returns no schemas on Oracle CDB databases (ALL_TABLES query is not CDB-aware). (Discovery and Service Mapping — sn_itom_pattern)PRB2076877 — JBoss pattern fails with ClassCastException in step 17 when standalone/ directory is accessible to the servicenow user. (Visibility Content — sn_pattern_design)PRB2034098 — [CVT] Pattern Designer Enhancements 3.9.1 Commands List includes hard-coded variables (such as default port values) instead of variable RegEx. (Pattern Designer Enhancements — sn_itom_pde)PRB2055311 - Patterns allow-list generator filters out some necessary shared libraries (Agent Client Collector for Visibility Content - sn_acc_vis_content) Open Issues PRB2085977 — ACC agent-based pattern execution: pipe operator in nested executeCommand is evaluated by cmd, breaking PowerShell cmdlet pipelines. (MSSQL-specific detail covered in MSSQL KB)PRB2070433 — Oracle DB On Unix: CVT not generating command when eval of pattern step invokes a command in MID script; command concatenation (+) not handled correctly.PRB2054190 — ACC Pattern Command failure within eval scripts causes command string to be saved as the output when the command fails.PRB2054638 — ACC Pattern Execution uses wmic which is deprecated on latest versions of Windows. (MSSQL-specific detail covered in MSSQL KB) Documented Limitations Application patterns executed via ACC do not support the following pattern operations.
