Open the affected group record. Navigate to the Roles related list. Remove the affected role(s) from the group. Save the record. Re-add the same role(s) to the group. Verify that users in the group now have the expected inherited roles. Confirm the affected functionality is available to the user.

Example:

A user in the IT Problem Coordinator and IT Problem Task Analyst groups did not inherit the roles problem_coordinator and problem_task_analyst . After removing and re-adding the roles to the groups, the user received the roles successfully and could access the expected Problem Management actions.
