Connected Work allows users to associate existing records (such as Stories, Demands, Incidents, Defects, and other task-based records) with CWM boards. These records are displayed on the board based on the configured Connected Work filters and board preferences. When records are brought into a board through Connected Work, CWM creates corresponding entries in the [sn_cwm_task] table, which are then used to display and manage the work items within CWM. When a task type (for example, an Incident) is imported into the board through Connected Work, it remains associated with that board even if the Connected Work filter is modified later. Updating the Connected Work conditions does not automatically remove previously imported work items. In fact, a message is displayed while configuring Connected Work filters that indicates existing work items will not be removed when conditions are changed.
