Field value in navigation URL not auto-populated on new record formIssue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Filter the list of 'alm_stockroom' records with the condition ('Type' is 'Warehouse'), and click the 'New' button on the list form. Expect the newly opened record form to auto-populate the 'Warehouse' in the 'Type' field, which is included in the navigating URL. But the 'Type' field stays blank. The system attempts to ensure that the new record matches the list conditions. For example, clicking New on the incident list filtered by the 'caller_id' field with the value of 'Example User' results in an incident where the 'caller_id' is pre-populated with 'Example User'. If the field is not populated with the expected value and stays blank, please check whether the user has the 'Write' permission granted to this specific field at the ACL level. ACLs run on the server side and are evaluated first to determine access to the record and its fields. If the ACL validation returns that the logged-in user does not have the 'Write' access to the field, the field value won't be populated on the new record form via the navigating URL. If you want the field value to be populated on the new record form but don't want the logged-in user to modify it, you can use a UI policy to set the field read-only after ACL validation completes.
