The ability for HR agents with the sn_hr_core.profile_writer role to edit user records is expected out-of-box behavior due to out of box ACL configurations and role permissions. 2. The ACLs and script includes explicitly allow users with the sn_hr_core.profile_writer role to modify fields in the User (sys_user) table. Some fields on the HR profile are pulled from the user table, and as an HR agent, the agent should be able to edit those fields (sn_hr_core.profile_writer role should be added to do so). Also, when a profile is created through record producers, the fields are populated using the profile writer role. Users with the HR role sn_hr_core.basic automatically inherit the sn_hr_core.profile_writer role. The sn_hr_core.profile_writer role is allowed edit access on the User (sys_user) table.
