The behavior is caused by a defect in the out-of-box Icon Link widget when used with the EC Theme. As part of the Australia release, updates were introduced to the widget styling that reference the CSS variable $brand-primary-dark. While this variable is available in the Coral theme, it is not available in the EC Theme. As a result, the widget is unable to resolve the variable correctly and does not render as expected. During our review of the widget on your instance, we found that the CSS currently contains references to $brand-primary-dark within the .text-primary and .text-default hover styling. A workaround has been identified to provide a fallback value for the missing theme variable. Please open the Icon Link widget record: https://[instance-name].service-now.com/nav_to.do?uri=sp_widget.do?sys_id=3caa67afcb13020000f8d856634c9c2e Add the following line at the beginning of the widget CSS: $brand-primary-dark: $brand-primary !default; This provides a fallback value when the EC Theme does not define $brand-primary-dark, allowing the widget to render correctly.
