Interceptor (sys_wizard) is skipping the main question and redirecting to a sub page Issue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } When opening a New Record via application navigator module it incorrectly redirects to a child interceptor, rather than the parent interceptor specified in the module link type arguments. Although a module can be configured to direct to a specific link as defined in the arguments, those arguments do not always determine which page is ultimately served. When a module targets a table, such as cmdb_ci, the platform first checks the Answer [sys_wizard_answer] table for any active record matching the target Intercepts (for example, cmdb_ci.do). If a matching active record exists, the system redirects to the first result on that table, and only then appends the module's configured arguments to the generated URL. Because the interceptor selection has already occurred, the appended arguments no longer influence which page is launched. The query does not specify an explicit sort order and returns the first matching record. Where only one active interceptor exists for a page, the result is consistent. However, when multiple active sys_wizard_answer records intercept the same page, the platform can return any matching record, due to the way the underlying database infrastructure works. Instances on RaptorDB do not guarantee row order for queries without an ORDER BY clause, therefore the selected interceptor is non-deterministic and may vary between environments or change over time. Instances on MariaDB by comparison will return the same result each time, unless the database is rebuilt. In summary, the incorrect wizard was launched because multiple active interceptor records existed for the same page and the platform's interceptor-selection logic returned the first matching sys_wizard_answer record without applying a deterministic ordering. We only map a single table to the Intercepts field, so child interceptors don't need to be mapped.
