Troubleshooting Multiple Approvals in Flows - issue marking 1st approval as "Requested" after being Approved and second approval RequestedSummary<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } If you have a Flow that has two "Ask for Approval" actions running one after the other. The first approval may run fine, and be marked as Approved. When the second approval is triggered, the first one that was previously marked as Approved is marked as "Requested" again by the system. Facts<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } You can work-around this by adding Pause conditions between the two, and moving one of the approvals to a sub-flow but the same behavior may still occur. Steps to reproduce:1. Submit the catalog item2. Mark the first approval under the RITM as Approved.3. Reload the form and notice the first approval is listed as Requested again, and going into that approval record shows the System moving it from Approved to Requested. How this looks:• In Workflow Studio it has two or more approvals back-to-back:• The first one gets processed, but the second is re-requesting the first approval• The initial approval is coming thru for one supervisor• then a group approval happens for all others in the related list there; but two seconds later it moves from approved back to requested for some reason. To resolve the issue, go to approval engine (the following link), look for sc_req_item and update the option from 'Approval rules' to 'turn engines off'. We suggest you review the other tables in approval engines and set to 'turn engines off' if approval is handled by workflow or flow designer./now/nav/ui/classic/params/target/approval_engines.do
