Duplicate breadcrumb displayed on Taxonomy Topic page causing page layout issueIssue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } On the Taxonomy Topic page in an Employee Center Service Portal configured with left-side navigation, the breadcrumb trail renders twice: Once from the "breadcrumbs" widget's nav element.Once from the "Employee Center Header" widget's client script, which clones the header breadcrumb into a .moved-breadcrumbs-container div and prepends it into main[role="main"]. This results in: Duplicate breadcrumb navigation elements are displayed on the Taxonomy Topic page. The left-side navigation panel is being pushed down, creating excessive white space and layout misalignment. This behavior is specific to pages like the Taxonomy Topic page that render a breadcrumb subheader — it does not occur on the Employee Center Home page, which has no breadcrumb subheader for the "Employee Center Header" widget's client script to clone in the first place. On a page like the Taxonomy Topic page, which renders a breadcrumb subheader via the "breadcrumbs" widget, this produces two copies of the breadcrumb. Out-of-the-box, only one copy is visible because the base ec-theme-global stylesheet contains a CSS rule that hides the original header-rendered breadcrumb whenever the portal body has the left-nav class, leaving only the cloned copy visible. If a portal's theme uses a customized copy of ec-theme-global (or an equivalent stylesheet) in which this suppression rule has been removed or altered, the original breadcrumb copy on the Taxonomy Topic page is no longer hidden, so both copies render simultaneously — producing the visible duplication and the associated layout push-down. If other left-nav-related layout issues persist after applying this rule (e.g. footer spacing, page max-width, left-nav background), compare the customized stylesheet against the out-of-box ec-theme-global version for other missing rules in the same block.
