Catalog items in previous Enhanced Chat messages are disabled after a new queryIssue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } When using Enhanced Chat, catalog items presented in an earlier message become disabled (no longer clickable) after a new query is submitted in the same conversation. Once the earlier response moves into the conversation history, the catalog items in it can no longer be selected. Once a message that contains catalog items — conversational or non-conversational — moves into the conversation history, both types of catalog items in that message are disabled. The reasons are: - Conversational catalog items, and non-conversational catalog items that open in a popup, both post a message into the chat when clicked. Allowing one to be clicked from an earlier point in the history would insert a catalog submission out of order and disrupt the current chat flow.- Non-conversational catalog items that open in a new window are also disabled once they are in history, to keep the user experience consistent. In short, only the catalog items in previous messages are non-clickable. Submitting a catalog item from an old message would generate an acknowledgement/submission in the chat, and the design intentionally prevents a stray catalog submission in the history from interrupting the ongoing conversation. Resolution<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } This behavior is working as designed. There is no configuration change to keep catalog items in previous messages active. To act on a catalog item, use the most recent response in the conversation. If the catalog item is no longer present in the latest message, re-issue the query so the Virtual Agent presents the catalog items again in a current (active) response. Product Management has plans to improve this experience; however, the timelines have not yet been finalized. Customers who would like this behavior changed are encouraged to submit an enhancement request (Idea) so Product Management can consider it.
