How to generate mobile deep links that opens different Knowledge Base articles from one browser screenSummary<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } This article explains how to set up a single Now Mobile browser screen that can open different Knowledge Base articles depending on which article a generated link points to, rather than building a separate screen per article. This is useful, for example, when printing a QR code on a physical location or asset label that should open the matching Knowledge Base article inside the Now Mobile app. Release<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Confirmed behaviour from Zurich and before. Instructions<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } In Mobile App Builder, create a Browser Screen for your mobile app. Set its address field to include a placeholder written in double curly braces around the field you want filled in dynamically, for example /mesp?id=kb_article&sys_id={{sys_id}}.Do not attach a UI Parameter to this screen for the record value. UI Parameters are used to carry a value from a source screen into a destination form when a button redirects between screens, they are not applied to a browser screen's own address, so a UI Parameter set up this way will not appear in the final link.To generate a link that opens a specific Knowledge Base article, use the MobileDeepLinkGenerator script include's getFormScreenLink() method, passing your browser screen's sys_id, the Knowledge Base table name (kb_knowledge), and the target article's sys_id: var link = deepLinkGenerator.getFormScreenLink(<browserScreenSysId>, 'kb_knowledge', <kbArticleSysId>);The placeholder from step 1 is automatically replaced with the matching value from the article you pass in. Passing a different article's sys_id in step 3 produces a link to that article instead, while reusing the same browser screen you built in step 1.Test the generated link on a device that already has the Now Mobile app installed, to confirm it opens the intended article inside the app rather than in a browser.If needed, encode the generated link, not the article's normal web address, into your QR code or notification.
