How to Configure "Save as Attachment" in a Workflow Studio REST StepSummary<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } When Save as Attachment is enabled in a Workflow Studio REST Step, the Table field is intentionally read-only and cannot be selected manually. This is expected behavior. The Table field is automatically populated based on the record specified in the Attachment File Record field. To use this feature, a record must first be retrieved (for example, by using a Look Up Records step) and then mapped to Attachment File Record. Once the record is provided, the corresponding table is automatically determined by the platform. Add a Look Up Records step (or another step that returns the target record). 2. Configure the step to retrieve the record that should receive the attachment. 3. Add a REST Step. 4. In the Response Handling section, select the Save as Attachment checkbox. 5. Drag the output record from the previous step into the Attachment File Record field. 6. Verify that the Table field is automatically populated and remains read-only. 7. Enter the desired file name in Attachment File Name. 8. Execute the action. The REST response will be saved as an attachment on the specified record.
