A crawl of 40 documents equals 40 transactions, whether those documents are PDFs, Word files, spreadsheets, or other formats. Re-indexed content counts as new transactions:If content is deleted from an index and later re-added (such as by re-running a crawler on the same source), the re-indexed documents are counted as new transactions. The system does not recognize them as previously indexed content. Production instance transactions are counted; non-production are notOnly transactions from production instances are included in transaction counts and usage reports. Transactions generated by crawlers running on development, test, or sandbox instances are excluded from billing and usage calculations. Multiple daily crawls are not double-countedIf you run multiple crawls on the same day against the same source, credits are consumed once per day based on the daily check, not per crawl execution. Running a crawler multiple times in a single day does not result in duplicate transaction charges.
