Fulfillment Subflows Not Triggering After Order Acknowledgement in Sales & Order ManagementIssue <!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } After upgrading to the Zurich release or deploying Sales & Order Management (SOM) configurations between instances, administrators may observe that fulfillment subflows are not triggered when an Order Line Item transitions to the Acknowledge state. Although the expected preprocessing flow executes successfully, no fulfillment flow is started, preventing the order from progressing through subsequent lifecycle states. This behavior is commonly caused by legacy fulfillment flows that are no longer used in the Zurich architecture remaining active in the instance. The decomposition process was redesigned to execute at the Customer Order level instead of the Order Line Item level. As part of this redesign: The legacy Process Telecom Order Line Item flow was deprecated.A new Decompose Customer Order flow performs order decomposition.Logic previously implemented through the Subflow for domain orders Business Rule was migrated into Flow Designer actions executed by the new decomposition flow. If the deprecated flow remains active after an upgrade or deployment, it can interfere with the new orchestration process, preventing fulfillment subflows from being initiated. Verify the Initial Flow Execution Move an Order Line Item to the Acknowledge state. Confirm whether: Initial processing completes successfully. No fulfillment subflow is triggered afterward. 2. Review Active Flows Navigate to Flow Designer. Determine whether the following legacy flow is still active: Process Telecom Order Line Item If this flow remains active in a Zurich instance, it may interfere with the supported orchestration process. 3. Verify the New Decomposition Flow Confirm that the following flow is present and active: Decompose Customer Order This flow is responsible for invoking fulfillment logic in the Zurich architecture. 4. Validate Product Configuration Verify that: Product Offering is Published.Product Specification is Published.Product Order Fulfilment Policy contains the expected mapping.Decision table entries resolve correctly for the affected product. If these configurations are valid and fulfillment still does not occur, review whether legacy orchestration remains enabled. Additional Validation: After implementing the change: Verify that: Customer Order decomposition starts successfully.Fulfillment subflows are created.Order state transitions continue automatically.Flow Context shows execution of the new decomposition flow.No legacy flow contexts are created. Outcome: After disabling the deprecated Process Telecom Order Line Item flow, the new Decompose Customer Order flow successfully orchestrates decomposition and invokes the appropriate fulfillment subflows. This restores the expected order processing behavior in Zurich-based Sales & Order Management implementations.
