When HTML content is sent to MS Teams, special characters like = can be encoded as =. Two issues occur: Relative URLs: When a catalog item contains a link like: href="sys_attachment.do?sys_id=abc123..." The web portal browser automatically prepends the instance URL and opens: https://instance.service-now.com/sys_attachment.do?sys_id=abc123... However, MS Teams treats the relative URL as-is and cannot resolve it. Encoded Characters: The = character gets encoded as =, turning the link into: sys_attachment.do?sys_id=abc123... The web portal decodes this automatically, but MS Teams does not, causing the parameter to fail. This can be verified in the payload field in sys_cs_conversation table.
