This is creating a "send-ignored" type email notification entry on every click or refresh. Steps to Reproduce: 1) Login to <instance>2) Go to All --> Major incident --> All --> Open any Resolved or In progress record.3) Click on View workbench --> Communicate4) In other browser tab open "sys_email_list" Observe no new record.5) Go back to communicate and click on "compose" button under any steps of End user communication For example under "End User Status Update" but do not send.6) Now observe that there is a new entry in sys_email _list with ignore status with Recipients empty.7) If we go back to workbench and send it this action will utilize and update the above ignored email notification and change same entry to processed.8) If we click on compose and close it (multiple times without sending) this created multiple "send-ignored" type email notification entries for each click. Below is the explanation:When emailClientOpenPop() is called, it creates a new entry in the sys_email table and opens the email pop-up window > however, it does not actually send the email at that point. The email record is created immediately when the client opens, and it is set to a "send-ignored" state because the email is still being edited by the user. An error message is also recorded in the error field to indicate that the email client has been opened but the user has not yet pressed the Send button.The side effect of this design is that if the user closes the email window without pressing Send, that record will remain in the sys_email table in its unsent state > which is the behavior we are seeing.Our Dev team also confirmed that this is working as expected.
