The integration works successfully when user(who has OAUTH access) manually refresh the OAuth token and then manually execute the scheduled job. However, the scheduled jobs are failing when they run at their scheduled time. The access token appears to be valid for only around 30 minutes. After that, the scheduled job fails because the token is not being automatically refreshed before or during execution. When an update occurs in the oauth_credential table, the platform sends a credential reload command to all applicable MID Servers. Each MID Server then reloads the credential, which can result in multiple token requests being sent to the OAuth token endpoint simultaneously. If the token provider issues a new access token and refresh token for each of these requests, a race condition can occur while updating the oauth_credential table. As a result, the most recently issued tokens may not always be saved in the database. Intermittently, due to this race condition, older tokens (instead of the latest valid tokens) may be persisted and subsequently used to access the protected resource. This can lead to HTTP 400/401 errors, as observed in this case. Resolution<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } To mitigate the issue, we changed the credential configuration from Applies to All MID Servers to Specific MID Server and selected a single MID Server. This prevents multiple credential reload commands from being issued, thereby avoiding multiple simultaneous token requests to the token endpoint and eliminating the race condition. Now we see token is getting generated successfully and jobs are getting completed.
