Clone operations do not support MFA-authenticated accounts.Clone account identity type is not "machine only" — The account used for clone authentication in the target instance must have the identity type set to "machine only" rather than a standard user or LDAP/ADFS identity.Web Service Access Only (WSAO) not enabled — The clone account must have Web Service Access Only (WSAO) enabled to allow API-based authentication for clone operations.System property not enabled — The system property glide.db.clone.allow_clone_target must be enabled on the target instance to permit clone requests.Source account lacks clone_admin role — The account initiating the clone request from the source instance must have the clone_admin role assigned.Using LDAP or ADFS account credentials — Clone operations require a local account on the target instance. If the system prompts that it's high security, provide a reason by clicking the 'here' option in the banner. Open the User [sys_user] table.Configure the list view to show the "Enable Multifactor Authentication" column.For the account used for clone authentication, set "Enable Multifactor Authentication" to 'false'. Set clone account identity type to "machine only": Open the User [sys_user] table.Locate the clone account record.Set the "Identity type" field to 'machine' only. Enable Web Service Access Only (WSAO) on the clone account: In the clone account's user record, locate the "Web Service Access Only" field.Set this field to 'true' (checked). Enable the system property for clone targeting: Navigate to "System Properties > System Property".Search for glide.db.clone.allow_clone_target.Ensure the property is set to true (enabled).If the property does not exist, create it with the value 'true'. Ensure the clone account is a local account: The clone account must be created directly in the target instance (not LDAP or ADFS-linked).If the account is currently linked to LDAP or ADFS, create a new local account for clone operations. Make sure the clone account is NOT locked out. On the Source Instance 1. Assign the clone_admin role to the source account: Open the User [sys_user] table.Locate the account that will initiate the clone request.Assign the "clone_admin" role to this account.If the role is not available, ensure the Clone Plugin is installed and activated. After applying these configurations, retry the clone request. The request should now authenticate successfully and proceed to scheduling.
