This was deprecated for new customers around 10 years ago, and officially deprecated in 2021, mainly for the security risks involved in having an instance 'soap' role user's credential in a script on end user's computers. Emails were sent out at the time for the security problem, and later the deprecation was documented. It has turned out that a couple of customers were still using it in 2025/26. That function now requires the table parameter to have a valid table populated. HTHD's java doesn't do that, and was not updated to match in Zurich because the feature is deprecated. The java code of HTHD is not customisable by customers to fix this themselves. Customers will not be able to use HTHD any more. The main alternative features are: Install ACC on all the workstations instead, and a basic CI gets populated in the CMDB, similar to the level of data HTHD would populate. If ACC for Visibility is used too, perhaps with Software Asset Managent as well, then the CI has full details.Import using Service Graph Collector for Microsoft SCCM, which populate the CMDB with data on Windows workstations. Most of our customers use Microsoft's tools for managing their windows machines, and what's installed on them, and so all the data we need is availalbe in there. When HTHD was deprecated, most customer switched to that for end-user computers (because ACC wasn't yet available).
