In the application navigator, open the scheduled export visualization list by navigating to the table 'par_export_visualization'. Sample URL: https://<instance-name>/par_export_visualization_list.do2. Filter the list for records where File Type is 'Excel (.xls)'.3. Use the list editor to change the File Type value to '.xlsx' for the matching records. Updating the value at the list level applies the change to all selected rows.4. Confirm the change is saved. The next scheduled execution generates and attaches the file in .xlsx format. Note: Use the '.xlsx' file type going forward instead of the legacy Excel (.xls) type. The .xlsx format uses less memory, which reduces the risk of large exports failing. For exports larger than ~2 MB that continue to fail on the memory limit, the buffer-size property 'glide.grid_exporter.overwritten.buffer_size' can be increased. In earlier releases, the property 'glide.par.schedule.export.excel.use_xlsx' could force .xlsx output, but from Yokohama onward, .xlsx is selected directly in the Schedule Report UI, so the property no longer applies to instances on the Australia version.
