When Dynamic Translation (DT) is enabled, transcript generation is deferred until all message translations complete successfully. If any translation request is still pending during interaction closure, transcript generation is skipped during the initial processing. The scheduled job Force Interaction Transcript Generation periodically retries transcript generation for these deferred interactions. On the affected instance, the scheduled job was configured to execute once every 24 hours and process only 50 interactions per run. Engineering confirmed this configuration was insufficient for the customer’s transcript volume, resulting in a growing backlog and delayed transcript availability. Review of affected interactions confirmed that transcripts were eventually generated by the scheduled job, indicating the transcript generation logic was functioning correctly but was delayed due to the backlog. Engineering confirmed this behavior was expected when the scheduled job cannot process pending interactions quickly enough and did not identify a new product defect.
