Specifically: - When a user navigates to the Time Card list and applies a filter such as "User is <user_name>", - Clicking the "New" button pre-populates the User field with the filtered value (user_name). - This allows a new timecard to be created with that user populated, even if the acting user does not have explicit access to create timecards for others. This behavior is occurring because: - The instance is currently using a UI Action from the Global scope → (UI Action sys_id: 80c8c3a60a0a0b34003364513f7d9d27) In contrast: - Out of the Box instances use a Time Card table-specific "New" UI Action → (UI Action sys_id: 521ddc2793c0220064f572edb67ffb57) The OOB action enforces expected behavior and does not allow this scenario. This UI Action is deactivated in your instance and hence the global new button is visible on the time card list which is prepulating the filters on the new record.
