This is because it also creates a set of prefixed data sources specific to that connector. You can see these prefixed data sources in the Data Source list for that Service Graph Connector, or at SGC Central > SGC connector record > (name of your connection credential) > Data sources tab. Access to the Data Source table is necessary to create these data sources and now they are created automatically when creating a new connection. In the past when using the Guided Setup wizard, these prefixed data sources were created as a part of a separate step from connection creation. We recommend using the prefixed data sources as it allows you to point to multiple sources with single Service Graph Connector and it allows you to make changes to your configuration while leaving the OOB data sources untouched for reference or in case reversion is needed.
