If the MID Server is part of a load-balancing cluster, the platform automatically balances the work across the other MID Servers in that cluster — so a job submitted for one MID Server can be picked up and run by a different member of the same cluster. Export sets (along with LDAP and JDBC data sources) are not supported on clustered MID Servers for this reason. They must run on a dedicated MID Server so that the export always executes on the host that has access to the configured target folder. When the configured MID Server is part of a cluster, the export can be redirected to another cluster member that cannot reach the target folder, so the file is not delivered. This is by design. Export sets are intended to run on a dedicated MID Server, not on a member of a cluster. The MID Server can remain available for its other workloads; it simply must not be a cluster member while it is used for export sets. 6. Confirm the export set still references the dedicated MID Server. Navigate to All > System Export Sets > Export Sets and open the export set record to verify the MID Server field. 7. Trigger the export again. 8. Confirm the export file is delivered to the target folder on the dedicated MID Server. Verify: - In the ECC Queue (All > ECC > Queue), confirm the export request is processed by the configured MID Server and no other. - Confirm the exported file is present in the expected target folder.
