Resolution/Workaround:

Deactivate the ACL with sys_id b71c7af183ae42105f839b50ceaad3c6. nav_to.do?uri=sys_security_acl.do?sys_id=b71c7af183ae42105f839b50ceaad3c6

This ACL is part of the Employee Profile application scope. Logout from mobile app and login again Verify that the Manager and Coworkers section populates correctly after deactivating the ACL.
