The SGC for SCCM follows the ServiceNow CMDB data model, which does not store IP addresses as a direct attribute on cmdb_ci_server or cmdb_ci_computer. Instead, SCCM's IP address data — sourced from the v_GS_NETWORK_ADAPTER_CONFIGURATION table — is mapped to the cmdb_ci_ip_address class and related back to the server CI via a relationship. The IP addresses are accessible as a related list on the server or computer CI form, not as an inline field. Users may expect IP address data to appear as a direct field on the CI record because that is how the data is presented in SCCM, and because IP address is a common attribute used in identification and reconciliation rules. The CMDB data model separates network adapter and IP data into a dedicated class to support many-to-one relationships between network interfaces and a single CI. The supported approach is to access IP address data through the related list on the CI form. To view IP address data for a server or computer CI: Navigate to https://<instance-name>.service-now.com/cmdb_ci_list.do?sysparm_query=sys_class_name%3Dcmdb_ci_server&sysparm_view=Open the server or computer CI record.Scroll to the related lists section at the bottom of the form.Locate the IP Addresses related list — this list is populated by the cmdb_ci_ip_address class entries linked to the CI by the SGC for SCCM. If a direct IP address field on the CI record is required: Populating the IP address as a direct field on cmdb_ci_server requires a custom Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) modification to the transform map. This is not recommended for instances where ServiceNow Discovery is also managing server CIs, as it may conflict with Discovery-managed data.
