The Business Rule and Script Include logic are working as designed — the state transition is correctly blocked when the associated Invitation is in a closed state. The only issue is that the "Check In" button remains visible on Visitor Registration records in No Show status even when the associated Invitation is already closed, which leads to a confusing error message for the user ("Invalid visitor registration state change") since the action will systematically fail in that case. A defect has been raised to update the UI Action condition so the button is hidden when the Invitation is closed: PRB2025723
