The Resource Management Workspace is designed to display the '!' symbol whenever the calculated FTE value has fewer than 2 significant decimal digits i.e., when the FTE rounds to 0.00 at 2 decimal places. FTE is calculated as: FTE = Allocated Hours ÷ Total Capacity Hours (for the period for that user). The OOB platform renders FTE to 2 decimal places. Values that would render as 0.00 are shown as '!' to indicate the allocation exists but is too small to display meaningfully at this precision. Users must revise the allocated hours on the affected resource allocation records to a value that yields an FTE of at least 0.01 (i.e., the result rounds to a non-zero value at 2 decimal places). The '!' will resolve automatically once the FTE meets the 2-decimal display threshold. Native UI record can be found under sn_plng_att_core_resource_assignment table for same allocated user. In related list open resource_allocation to see the hours allocated. If you do not wish to revise hours then in the Resource Management Workspace, switch the display mode from FTE to Hours. The allocated hours value will display correctly regardless of the FTE precision limitation.
