Comment for selected records Adds a general comment that applies to the overall record(s) selected. Where it appears: The comment is saved to the Comment column of each selected record. It is not tied to a specific field; it reflects a general note or action taken for that configuration item (CI). Use this option when the comment applies to the entire record, such as: "No field-specific issues exist.""No discrepancies found.""Summary or reviewer note applies to the record as a whole." 2. Comment for selected field Adds a comment specifically for one or more fields or attributes within the record. Where it appears: The comment is visible for the specific fields selected, indicated by a message icon. Steps: Open the data certification task.Select a record and select Review record to certify/fail.Select the Select all fields check box.Clear the check boxes for any attributes for which you do not want to add a comment.Enter your comment and select Save. The comment is visible for the selected fields, indicated by a message icon. Use this option when the comment relates to a specific field that needs attention, such as: "IP address updated based on discovery results.""Install status verified.""Last discovered date is not accurate — pending re-discovery."
