These duplicate and outdated records conflict with the active bot's authentication flow, causing the VA–MS Teams Adapter Sender Subflow to fail with a 401 error. The Teams integration cannot resolve the correct credential set, and authorization is denied. Resolution<!-- /*NS Branding Styles*/ --> .ns-kb-css-body-editor-container { p { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } span { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, #000000); } h2 { font-size: 24pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h3 { font-size: 18pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } h4 { font-size: 14pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--text-primary, black); } a { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718F); } a:hover { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #024F69); } a:target { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #032D42); } a:visited { font-size: 12pt; color: var(--now-color--link-primary, #00718f); } ul { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } li { font-size: 12pt; font-family: Lato; } img { display: ; max-width: ; width: ; height: ; } } Before performing the cleanup steps below, export all records from each affected table as a backup. Navigate to System Definition > Tables and open each of the following tables in turn: sys_cs_provider_applicationmessage_authoidc_provider_configurationjwt_claim_validationoauth_oidc_entityoauth_entity_scopeoauth_entity_profileoauth_entity_profile_scopeoidc_token_verificationoauth_entity_profile_verificationtoken_verificationsys_cs_channel_user_profileprovider_user_map In each table, identify records associated with the previous or inactive VA app registration. Look for entries with the same Azure Tenant ID. Self-configured bot creates records that start with "sample" You should only see one record for each item that starts with "sample" and contains the tenant ID. If you see other records with the same tenant, they should be removed. If a credential of type sn_va_outbound is present alongside the active credential, verify which one corresponds to the current bot. Inactivate any credential not associated with the active configuration.Test the VA bot in Microsoft Teams by sending a message and confirming that VA topics are returned and the bot responds correctly.
