It is included in the com.snc.depreciation plugin. Execution Flow Checks whether enough days have passed since the last run by comparing the current date against the sn_itam_depreciation_job_last_run property, plus the number of days defined in sn_itam_trigger_depreciation_job_after_days. If not enough time has passed, the job exits without processing.Queries the alm_asset table for all records where both a depreciation method and a depreciation effective date are populated. Assets missing either field are skipped.For each eligible asset, retrieves the calculation formula script from the cmdb_depreciation table. Formulas are stored as executable scripts, not as fixed values.Executes the formula and writes the following three fields on the asset record: Field Value residual Current worth of the asset (returned by the formula) depreciated_amount Original cost minus residual value residual_date Date of calculation 5. After processing all individual assets, aggregates residual values, costs, and total depreciation from child assets up to their parent fixed asset records (alm_fixed_assets) using the m2m_fixed_asset_to_asset relationship table. How to find job execution details To view the execution details for the Calculate Depreciation job: Navigate to System Scheduler > Scheduled Jobs > Scheduled Jobs and search for "Calculate Depreciation."To view the execution log, navigate to the asset_job_log table. You can access it by entering asset_job_log.list in the navigation filter.
