As a potential workaround, AI Search may continue to leverage the ESC Search Profile while Virtual Agent is configured to use the Now Assist in Virtual Agent Search Profile, allowing the two experiences to operate independently. This would require customization of the faceted search widget to reference separate search profiles; however, this approach is non-standard, may be overwritten during future upgrades, and any associated customization falls outside the supported scope and must be evaluated and implemented at the customer’s discretion. If required, Now Assist Q&A or Actions can be linked to the ESC Search Profile, with the understanding that this may incur additional LLM usage costs.
