The identified Business Rules: Executed for all approval records.Were not scoped to a specific source table.Interfered with the approval processing used by Knowledge Management publishing.Triggered unintended article creation events during approval lifecycle activities. Testing confirmed the root cause by temporarily disabling the custom Business Rules. Once disabled, approval-based publishing completed successfully and no duplicate Knowledge articles were generated. The issue was not caused by the Out-of-Box Knowledge approval Flows, Workflows, Publish UI Actions, or Knowledge versioning functionality.
