It has no agent, no endpoint component, and no OS-level integration that reaches into a local machine's credential cache and updates password in cache. ServiceNow Password Reset updates the password at the active directory level only. Local OS credential cache reconciliation is the responsibility of the operating system and network authentication infrastructure (Kerberos/NTLM against a Domain Controller). This is by design and not a gap in the Password Reset application in service now. Cached password should be updated via the AD server only, the system should be in the network or VPN
