ACC actually redacts, by default, the default fields redacted are same as the list in the acc.yml. You may modify the Redact parameters (by removing the # at the start of the line). However if it is modified in acc.yml, then it will then override the default list. The key thing to remember is if you want to add custom entries, include the full default list plus your additions if any. The way it works is that both the ACC agent logs on the client side AND the values captured by the ACC agent for fields listed will be replaced by the string "REDACTED". This also affects the check result as well. 2. There are no side effects caused by enabling or using this feature. The main purpose is to hide sensitive information. If you don't hide it, then it's visible.
