The Enhancement record is designed as an independent delivery entity with its own planning lifecycle. Dates on the Enhancement default to system-generated timestamps at the time of record creation. Additionally, note that line 70 of the script — enhancement.setValue('parent', demand.sys_id) — is commented out OOB, which also explains the absence of a parent relationship between the Enhancement and its originating Demand. Important: Any modification to OOB script includes should follow ServiceNow customization best practices (extend, do not modify OOB directly) to avoid upgrade conflicts.
