Procedure: Find Licensed Roles for a Subscription

Step 1: Open the Subscription Role Mapping Table

In the Application Navigator , enter: sn_sub_man_license_application_roles.list Press Enter to open the list view. From the personalizer, add User Role and Role Type to the list view and sort them to appear right after the Subscription Entitlement field. Keep Subscription Entitlement, User Role, and Type in a sequence for a better view. Step 2: Apply Filters

Apply the following filters to narrow down results for your target subscription:

Subscription Name Filter to the subscription you want to review Example: ITSM Professional, ITOM Visibility User Role Displays the sys_user_role associated with the subscription (Optional) Filter for a specific role Role Type Identifies the role classification: Requester Fulfiller Unrestricted Step 3: Review Results

Each row represents a role mapped to the selected subscription Any user assigned one of these roles consumes a license seat for that subscription Example Use Case

Scenario: Identify which roles are consuming the ITSM Professional subscription.

Steps:

Open: sn_sub_man_license_application_roles.list Set Subscription Name to ITSM Professional Review the resulting list of roles and role types Result:

You can export the list of roles and filter the sys_user_has_role table to find the list of users consuming this license.

Any user assigned one of the listed roles is consuming an ITSM Professional license seat.
