When a dictionary entry is reverted to the base system version, only the sys_dictionary record is reverted. If the field label has been customized, the label record in sys_documentation remains pointed to the custom update version rather than the base system version. As a result, the field label does not revert to the base system value even though the dictionary entry itself has been reverted correctly. To fully restore the base system label, the corresponding sys_documentation record must also be reverted to its base system update version. This is typically the entry with the oldest recorded date that does not reference a custom update set as the source.Open that update version record and select Revert to this version in the Related Links section.Verify that the field label has updated to the expected base system value by checking the field on the relevant form or in the Documentation [sys_documentation] table. Note: Repeat this process for each instance where the label is affected — for example, non-production and production instances. Verify the label on each instance after reverting.
